My
Story

After fifteen years  of work as a Firefighter-Paramedic,  I recently transitioned to a career as a Clinical Social Worker.  I have found that nature is where I find peace and restoration from the compassion fatigue that is inevitable from my line of work.

Nature has not only been my sanctuary but also my muse!  When I walk in nature, I am able to allow my senses to take in the present moment.  I see beauty in the details of light and the transformations in each season. I am in awe of the metaphors that nature gives for my personal experiences and for humanity as a whole.

In nature I find acceptance, hope, and an outlet to express deep emotions through the interplay of camera and brushstroke.  I share with you the whispers of the wild that have inspired me and remind me of the fullness of life.
